The Daily Sketch 3/19

Well, St Patty’s was a good, good time here in Savannah, but I needed a full day to recuperate from the fun of early rising (4am) to get downtown and get prime real estate for the viewing of the parade.  Plus the Kahlua and coffees really got to my old bones :)

Anywhoo, the Daily Sketch is back from vacation, and today’s Daily Sketch is inspired by the guys over at Big Illustration Party Time.  If you haven’t checked out their podcast, you are missing out!  If you are a freelance illustrator or an aspiring illustrator, Kevin Cross and Joshua Kemble are a pair of experienced illustrators with down-to-earth advice, stories, and information to keep you company in your studio while inspiring your business senses.

To discourage what the guys from Big Illustration Party Time often call anatomy fudging, this week and next the Daily Sketch will focus on drawing different aspects of the anatomy.  Today we will focus on noses.  I implore you to download photos of several different celebrities, friends, etc, and practice drawing noses until you dream of them tonight!

Here are mine!
